Since 1996, SmartKids Child Care & Learning Center in Washington, PA has served as the child care parents trust to provide quality education. We believe childhood is an essential period of time for growth and development, and through our indoor and outdoor classrooms and learning centers, we strive to help children not only become prepared for success in school, but for success in life as well. We are proud to be a Keystone 4-STAR rated system, and we are open six days a week with extended hours until 8 p.m., unlike most other child care centers. Children from 6 weeks to 12 years old are welcome, and we have age-appropriate curriculums for each age group.

Lisa R. Kyle
With over a decade of experience working with children, I am a dedicated and passionate leader in early childhood education. I discovered a love for working with kids early in my career and have spent the past 10 years nurturing young minds and supporting families.
After starting in daycare, I pursued a Bachelors Degree in Education from Geneva College, equipping myself with a strong foundation in the child development and educational practices. I dedicated over seven years to working in a Head Start Program, gaining extensive experience in fostering school readiness and empowering children and their families.
The past two years, I have proudly served as the Director of Smartkids Child care and Learning Center. In this role, I have committed to creating a safe engaging and enriching environment where ever child can thrive. My Leadership focuses on supporting staff, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring that each child’s unique potential is recognized and nurtured.
I am driven by my love of children and my beliefs in the power of education to shape a bright future.
