Since 1996, SmartKids Child Care & Learning Center in Washington, PA has served as the child care parents trust to provide quality education. We believe childhood is an essential period of time for growth and development, and through our indoor and outdoor classrooms and learning centers, we strive to help children not only become prepared for success in school, but for success in life as well. We are proud to be a Keystone 4-STAR rated system, and we are open six days a week with extended hours until 8 p.m., unlike most other child care centers. Children from 6 weeks to 12 years old are welcome, and we have age-appropriate curriculums for each age group.

Meet Ms. Lisa, Our Director
Meet Ms. Lisa, Our Director
Ms. Lisa brings over 20 years of experience working with children and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, along with her Director credentials. She has been a valued part of our center for the past three years. Ms. Lisa is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys building relationships with families, and is dedicated to creating a nurturing, supportive environment for every child. Her leadership, care, and commitment make her an essential part of our program.
Meet Ms. Emmi
Meet Ms. Emmi
Ms. Emmi is our wonderful young toddler teacher! She has over 7 years of experience working with children and has been a valued part of our team for the past 2½ years. Ms. Emmi loves teaching, and it truly shows—our toddlers adore their Ms. Emmi! She brings kindness, patience, and lots of fun to the classroom every day. We are so lucky to have her helping our little learners grow and explore.

Ms. Silke is our fantastic older toddler teacher and has been a valued member of our team for 4 years. With over 10 years of experience working with children, she brings knowledge, patience, and creativity into the classroom every day. Ms. Silke creates a warm and engaging environment where children feel supported as they learn, grow, and explore. Her dedication to helping each child succeed makes her a truly wonderful teacher, and we are so grateful to have her as part of our team.
Meet Ms. Victoria

Ms. Victoria is one of our preschool teachers and has been with us for the past 7 months. She brings 2 years of experience working with children and has such a calm and gentle presence in the classroom. Ms. Victoria helps create a peaceful and supportive environment where children feel comfortable learning and exploring. We are happy to have her as part of our preschool team!

Ms. Jordan is one of our amazing preschool teachers! She has over 10 years of experience working with children and holds a Pre-K–4 Teaching Certificate. Ms. Jordan brings incredible energy into the classroom and creates a fun, engaging learning environment every day. She has a natural connection with children and loves helping them learn, grow, and build confidence. We are so lucky to have Ms. Jordan as part of our preschool team!
Meet Ms. Duski
Meet Ms. Duski
Ms. Duski is one of our infant teachers and has been with us for the past year. She has 2 years of experience working with young children and is currently a nursing student. Ms. Duski works part-time but brings a gentle and patient presence to the infant room. She enjoys caring for the babies, supporting their daily routines, and helping them as they reach important early milestones like rolling, crawling, and babbling. Ms. Duski loves watching each baby grow, explore, and develop new skills, and she enjoys being part of those special moments. We are happy to have her helping care for our littlest learners.

Ms. Alexis is one of our dedicated preschool teachers and has been part of our team for the past 2 years. She has over 10 years of experience working with children and is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program. This spring she will also earn her teaching certificate. Ms. Alexis is a very passionate teacher who loves learning and sharing new ideas with her students. She brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a love of learning into the classroom every day, helping our preschoolers grow, explore, and build confidence. We are so proud to have Ms. Alexis on our team!

Meet Ms. Jill
Ms. Jill brings over 25 years of experience working with children and a wealth of knowledge to our team. She works part-time during the school year and joins us full-time in the summer. Ms. Jill spends most of her time in the preschool classroom, where her creativity and strong work ethic truly shine. She is wonderful with children and is always bringing new ideas and enthusiasm to the classroom. Her passion and dedication make her a valued part of our team!

Ms. Camille has over 5 years of experience working with children and holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been with us for 2 years. She works in our Early Head Start room, where she brings kindness, patience, and a true love for the children every day. Ms. Camille has a heart of gold and cares deeply for the little ones in her classroom. She enjoys helping them learn, grow, and feel safe and supported as they explore the world around them. We are so grateful to have Ms. Camille as part of our team!

Ms. Donna brings over 20 years of experience working with children and has been with our center for 10 years. She is currently in our Early Head Start Classroom and floats to support other classrooms. She is kind and passionate about making children feel loved and welcomed. The children absolutely adore her. We are grateful to have Ms. Donna on our team!

Ms. Paige, one of our Infant Teachers. With 2 years’ experience, she has been with our center for a short time; however, she brings creativity, kindness, and a joyful, loving approach to every day with the children. We are glad she is part of the team!

Meet Ms. Linda
Ms. Linda is affectionately called “Miss Duck” by the children. She warmly serves meals, helps around the center, and keeps everything clean and organized. Her kindness and patience make her a favorite with the children, who love seeing her every day. Glad she is on our team!
